Stina Marie Hasse Jørgensen

Stina Hasse is a PhD student at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies, University of Copenhagen, where she is researching programmed voices, speech synthesis and the sound design of robots as a member of ROCA.

Stina has published articles on art, technology and sound in magazines and journals such as Seismograf, Body, Space & Technology Journal and Cultural Analysis. Stina has also given papers at conferences such as Historizing the Avant-garde at University of Copenhagen, Global Lives Project at UC Berkeley, Re-New IMAC at the IT-University in Copenhagen, at the Music, Mind and Invention Workshop at College of New Jersey, and at NORDIK2012 in Stockholm. Stina is a visiting lecturer at the IT-University of Copenhagen and the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences, Lund University. Stina teaches in subjects such as postphenomenology, sound art, auditive culture, sound design, digital networks and remix culture.

Stina is also a multimedia artist and a curator of digital art. She has exhibited and given artist talks in places such as DIAS - Digital Interactive Art Space (DK), Wundergrund Festival (DK), BEAM festival (UK), Atelier Hotel Pro Forma (DK), Sound Through Barriers (US), MIX Copenhagen (DK), LAK festival (DK). She has published articles in magazines and journals such as Seismograf, Body, Space & Technology Journal and Cultural Analysis. Stina has also given papers at conferences such as Historizing the Avant-garde at University of Copenhagen, Global Lives Project UC Berkeley, Re-New IMAC at the IT-University in Copenhagen, at the Music, Mind and Invention Workshop at College of New Jersey, and at NORDIK2012 in Stockholm. Stina is also an active member of Lovelace - a scandinavian network for women working with digital technology and art, where she is curating exhibitions and workshops.
