Lila Lee-Morrison

Research Assistant in the Visual Culture & Art History Department at Lund University, Sweden. Received MA in Visual Culture at Lund University with an educational background in political science and photojournalism. Her recent studies have focused on the cultural implications of the use of advanced visual technologies. She has specifically studied their use in the realm of warfare and security through drone warfare and biometrics. The title of her master's thesis is 'Drone Warfare: War in the Age of Digital Reproduction,' She continues to investigate the intervening role of the camera for meaning production in society and a concurrent growing reliance on the use of artificial visual intelligence.
